Kofax Software enhances Kofax Express to provide a wide range of scan capture options for small to medium sized organization. This robust capture solution provides a modern capture interface with integrated Virtual ReScan image enhancement technology to provide a complete scanning solution. The software features include real-time image viewing, watched folder, automatic indexing with OCR and bar codes, database lookup, JPG, TIFF and PDF output formats and flexible output to FileBound, SharePoint and other document repositories.
Express software includes the following key features.
- Zonal OCR: Kofax automatically extracts index data from documents. Aim toward the paperless office and get rid of time-consuming paper storage and the error effects of mishandling paper documents and storing files in personal folders or shared drives.
- Bar Code Capabilities: The enhanced bar code engine in Kofax Express can read most commonly used 1D and 2D bar codes.
- Rubber Band OCR: Simply select the text in a document with your mouse and Express automatically populates the index field.
- Watched Folder: Express automatically processes images uploaded to a watched folder as if they were delivered by a scanner.
- Post Scan Processing with VRS Corrections: Don't like the image of the document you just scanned? Express allows you to visually adjust image quality without rescanning the document.
